Home Meet the Williamses
Christ Temple was organized in January 1972 by Bishop Bob Williams in a store front at 2324 Cole Road, Winston-Salem, NC. The first Sunday five adults and some small children were present. By 1974 the church had about 50 in attendance and land was purchased at 2935 Cole Road for a 40x80 worship building. We had our first service August 17, 1975.
The church increased to about 200 and seven years later in 1982 we built a new sanctuary 40x105 and had our first service April 1983. The people added a wing for our youth in 1985, and God continued to bless. The Lord began to speak to Bishop Williams to add a "Praise Dome" that will seat 1,000 people with balcony possibilities. We began to make the dream come true, by the blessing of God, and July 1997 Christ Temple moved in our new 110x110 Praise Dome.
We are continuing to remodel our older building to give more expansion to our youth department. We love our youth and the youth leaders are doing a great work with our youth.
